1638 West Minnehaha Avenue, Saint Paul, MN, USA

The original owner of this double house which was built for $3,400, was Gust Anderson, a contractor who lived across the street at 1637 W. Minnehaha Avenue. This is a well maintained example of Colonial Revival, a style usually reserved for single family rather than double houses. First Owner: Gust Anderson Notes: Hipped roof porch spanning facade has pediment over central entrances, and is supported by 4-volute Ionic columns. At center of 2nd story of main facade is a small rounded arched window. Large gabled roof dormer on main facade has gable returns. Flared eaves.
