National Register of Historic Places - Alfred Toll House
Statement of Significance: The mansion, one of the largest residential structures along Armour Boulevard, was erected by Alfred Toll. Toll was a prominent Kansas Citian and president of the Badger Lumber Company. Phillip Toll, the son of Alred, took over the house until it was used by the Kansas City Art Institute. In 1933, the structure was extensively remodeled under the ownership of the American Assurance Association.
