Statement of Significance: This is one of the few remaining residences built at the turn of the century on Armour Boulevard. It typifies the lavish, architect-designed homes that were constructed for prominent Kansas Citians who made their homes on the Boulevard. George E. Myers was an industrialist who organized the Pacific Mutual Telegram Company, which was later absorbed by the Postal Telegraph Company.
